They say when you own your own business, time is money. Even if you’re not self-employed, you’ll save money by going for a treadmill that costs $1000 instead of a gym membership that costs $60 a month.
Many people end up skipping their exercise routine because of the amount of time invested in getting to the gym. This is especially true if you are thinking of doing only half of your workout because of being short on time or energy. If you have a treadmill in your basement or bedroom, you can do a ten minute exercise routine at a faster pace and then hop in the shower and be done before you would’ve even finished the driving time to get to your gym and back.
If I had to start over and evaluate the Nordic Track Treadmill brands and all the other options on the market from scratch, there are a couple of things I would want to know. Allow me to share some of those things with you.
There are so many bells and whistles advertised on the various treadmills, it can be confusing when you’re trying to decide which brand and model to choose. The only extra feature I would consider other than the warranty and the price is the rating from customers regarding the noise level of the motor. It’s easier to watch TV or listen to your MP3 player without hurting your ears if the machine operates quietly.
The simplest way to find a low price treadmill that is worth your while is to check the warranty. No company is going to give you a five year warranty if they don’t believe the machine will last that long. So if you find a machine at $1000 or less, go ahead and buy it if it has a good long warranty that covers the most important parts of the machine like the running plate. The warranty and the cost are the most important factors that will allow you to make a confident purchasing decision.
